AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

CYBERTRAIN project: “Learning Innovative Technologies in the Field of Digital Software and Cyber Security”, project № 2019-1-BG01-KA102-061986 is implemented within the Erasmus+ Programme, KA1 Learning Mobility of Individuals, Mobility for VET Learners and Staff.

This project aims at sending 60 students from three Bulgarian vocational high schools to a two-week practical training in Padua, Italy in the period July-September 2021. The practice takes place in a real work environment at the innovative consultancy company “Digital Green Jobs SRL Impresa Sociale” (www.green-jobs.it), specialized in the field ICT consulting, software development and training for sustainable business growth

As future specialists in this dynamic and rapidly changing IT sector, students acquiring professional qualifications in the field of computer science, information systems and technologies at school need to acquaint themselves with European practices, implement and further develop the theoretical knowledge acquired at school. Participation in a mobility project is an integral part of young people's VET enabling the creation of a flexible European area of ​​skills and competences by linking learning to practice and developing learners' potential through learning in the work process.

The main objectives of the project are:

  • - Upgrading and improving students' key practical knowledge and skills in the field of digital software and cyber security;
  • - Preparation of human resources with qualification, corresponding to the needs of the national economy and the European market, adaptation to the foreign markets' specificities and the requirements of the European business through practice in a real and intercultural environment;
  • - Enhancing participants' language competences, business communication and work habits
  • - Raising students' confidence and motivation for further career development in the chosen job, making them responsible persons and true professionals;
  • - Improving the methods of practical training and increasing the quality of VET;
  • - Updating curricula for Elective and required courses to achieve sustainability and accessibility of project outcomes for a wider audience;
  • - Increasing the capacity of partner organizations for international cooperation in VET.
